Bob's Silicon Valley
I have had the privilege of living in Silicon Valley for the last twenty years or so and it is not just steel and glass buildings full of computer engineers toiling away to make the next you-got-to-have devices and software. It is actually four distinct valleys between the Diablo Range to the east and the Santa Cruz Mountains to the west including: the rural Coyote Valley to the south; Almaden Valley, situated on the south-west; Evergreen Valley to the south-east; Santa Clara Valley to the north, which includes the flat, main urban expanse of the South Bay which includes most of San Jose and the cities of Cupertino, Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Sunnyvale, and Mountain View.
This gallery contains, among other things, landscapes of Silicon valley day and evening, sunsets from or of the surrounding mountains, shots of the full moon from my back yard and a visit by a comet.
